8. Consecrate and Keep Yourselves from Idols

One night I dreamed that my younger sister and a few members in Christ were going to take possession of the land. This meant going to the place where God had entrusted us to preach the gospel and do the Lord's work. But there was obstruction. When I saw my younger sister, I found that they were playing table tennis and having fun. I was very worried. Was this time to have fun? All of a sudden, there was a shocking darkness enveloping us. I thought the only way out was to fly upwards. I made every effort to fly so as to be out of the darkness, but I could not fly very high. My mouth was controlled by the Holy Spirit yelling: "Consecrate! Keep yourselves from idols." I yelled so loudly that I awakened myself. How awful it was. At that time I thought the whole jail heard my shout. Immediately I fell into the dream again. I was in a tremendous darkness. I passed by the dreadful idols one by one. As I walked forward trembling, I saw from afar that there were people carrying an image of a god covered with a red curtain. They said it was "a preaching method of monk Chi Kong." This indicated confusion of the truth. In addition, I knew that among that group of people, there was a brother from Kunming. Later, I saw my mother walking with me, I told her that I was going abroad to where pastor Zhao was.

God used this dream to instruct me that a shocking darkness would happen when I wanted to take possession of the land. I had to consecrate myself and keep myself from idols so that I could be free from the power of darkness, and not be deceived by the false sayings of those who confused the truth. Then I could march forward to get the promised inheritance of God. It was a pity that I did not pay attention to God's warnings. When darkness reigned, I had no strength in watchful prayer so my spirit was willing, but my body was weak. I was deceived and entangled by sins. If it had not been God's great mercy, I would have wandered about and fallen in the desert. There had been some brothers and sisters who were called by grace and had fallen from grace. Even now they have not been restored. That brother who was among the false teachings also fell for many years. Then he returned. With such a deep regret, and not wanting others to follow this path, we must warn God's children all over the world. "Consecrate! Keep yourselves from idols!"
