1. God Forced Me to Stop Working

I left the Gospel Church during the darkest time, and the Lord led me to a small-scale ministry--leading a few family fellowships. One and a half years later, the official arraigned me and ordered me to submit all the names of those who attended the fellowship. I asked the authorities to give me three days to think about it. After I went home, I fasted and prayed for three days. Then I went to tell them: "God does not want me to write down the names, not a single one of them." They scolded me: "God wants you to obey the governing authorities. How come you do not obey them?" I replied: "The Scriptures also said it is right to obey God rather than men." They cursed me furiously and threatened me, and then they expelled me out of the office. Lastly they said: "You will be responsible for all the consequences."

As I looked back, I felt that I was so alone and weak in the Spirit during that period of time. When I was pressed too much, I would go to Beijing secretly to stay with the family of the Lord's servant for some time. However, what came next was an even greater darkness. At first, I heard that a brother in charge of the House of Kunming was arrested. In Beijing, all the servants of God who had just been released from the jail were arrested again. I saw in person that the couple of the Lord's servant were bound by chains to be taken away. Later, they passed away one after another in the jail. They poured out their precious life for God's truth and the ministry revealed by God.
