He Brings Into Being That
Which Did not Exist While I was in the labor camp, my aunt and my mother were anxiously waiting to reunite with my younger sister and me in Hong Kong. Even after I returned home, however, I was forbidden to go abroad. Now I was finally able to go to Hong Kong, but by this time both my mother and aunt had passed away. I was also unable to get in touch with their acquaintances in the Lord. Mrs. Lo had gone to America and Mrs. Chen was in Australia. I had no one to turn to but the Lord and I looked up to Him wholeheartedly. He truly brings into being that which did not exist. He prepared for me sister Liu, who had been a fruit of my co-worker, Sister Zhang, while I was in jail. She was working as a family nurse for the wife of a rich man in Hong Kong. She and her aged mother came all the way from Hong Kong to Shenzhen to take me back with them to Hong Kong. Sister Liu’s mistress loved the Lord so much that she desired to meet those who had been released from the labor camp. As a result I was invited to dinner and was able to take a bath at the home of this rich couple the night I arrived. Afterward I had fellowship with them. After that, sister Liu sent me to meet the daughters of Mrs. Chen. They brought me to the apartment of Mrs. Chu, a neighbor who lived in the same condominium, and I was able to stay in her recently renovated bedroom. At that time, Mrs. Chu had gone to Mainland China. The apartment was managed by her daughter and son-in-law. I had never known these people or met them before. During the night I slept at Mrs. Chu’s house, and during the day I ate at the home of Mrs. Chen’s two daughters who lived upstairs. The bedroom where I stayed was a newly painted light blue and there was a pink bathroom. The Lord had wonderfully prepared for me! He made me lack for nothing. |
