Key Verses Genesis 34:14 / Isaiah 53:5-6

Genesis 34 / Isaiah 53

1.  The flesh harms people

The flesh is corrupted and we hurt one another –showing off one’s beauty, coveting vanity, self-esteeming, angry, cunning and deceiving others. He who follows the flesh deceives himself as well as others and hurts himself as well as others.

2. Obey His will to save people

The Lord had no beauty nor did He desire vanity. Surely he took up our infirmities. He suffered silently and poured out His life for us. He sacrificed Himself to obey God’s will to redeem all peoples.

Psalm 34 / Revelation 12:4                      Fear /. Devour

The dragon wants to devour the male child, and many stars have been flung to the earth by it. I will seek God and look to Him at all times. He who fears God and does good will be delivered from the enemy.
