Happy New Year — 2012 Review

Peace to all sisters and brothers in Christ!

“Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!” (Ps 66:1-2)

Looking back into the days and months of this year, God’s goodness and great love has always rested on us which is beyond writing and unspeakable! “What is man that you make so much of him, that you give him so much attention, that you examine him every morning and test him every moment?” (Job 7:17-18) Remembering God’s love and recalling my own iniquities, the more I know I am but a worm like a maggot; unexpectedly I was chosen by His special grace with great commission on me. How unworthy!

Over the year, our co-workers of every place had apportioned some to retain in their location to guard watchfully in the household, ready to receive those workers and ‘little colts’ who would come to retreat and build themselves up. The priority was to strengthen the edification of their life and equip them with the truth. Further, was to watch and intercede for all peoples. Other co-workers had been sent by the Holy Spirit to both inside and outside our country where God destined us to assist various churches in their work to build up, train and revive; encouraging them to focus on the Lord’s words to prepare grain for the famine, to guard with alertness and unite in sanctification so as to bear the mind of God and actively join in the vision of Antioch mission to save people fervently and accomplish the gospel mission together. Under the help of the Holy Spirit, the prayer training centers in many places prospered gradually and we give all the thanks and glory to God. However, there are still places of the ‘hard soil’ which need patience and labor to continue to pay the price and we wait for the Holy Spirit to give us the harvest.

Surely in our spiritual battle line we were always weak, fainting and weary. But, the one who leads us to triumph is Christ. His grace is sufficient for us, for his power is made perfect in weakness. As in the Scriptures, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Cor 12:9-10)

Our enemy the devil knows his time is not long and he is now busy in his work. He indignantly does all works of damage, annoyance, tempting and split up. We ought to double our guard to watch and discern the plot of the evil in the spirit, not to compromise or be swayed. We also need to be patient in every possible way to search for the lost sheep and to shoulder their weakness. We must wholeheartedly trust in the Lord’s almighty and do not be afraid of the ferocious power of the evil one. We ought to seek only the kingdom of God, to be valiant and display utter faithfulness till the end!

Now mankind is full of wickedness dashing to the skies and drowned. Our jealous God is now in anger as such disasters are arising everywhere. We ought to be holy, and faithful to confess and intercede unceasingly to God for our nation, our fellow countrymen and the souls of the earth. May the Lord in wrath remember mercy and renew his deeds in our day! (Hab 3:2) May all the children of God, all churches and all co-workers unite in Christ be partnership in the gospel so that the evil one who attacks us will be thoroughly put to shame and ruined. Amen.

Finally let us continue to intercede sincerely for one another and advance together to welcome the great revival ahead of us so God’s name will receive the complete glory!

“They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings – and with him will be his called, chosen, and faithful followers.” (Rev 17:14)

Joy and thanksgiving in the New Year to all co-workers and saints in Christ!
