Key Verses Genesis 8:11 / Isaiah 27:3-4

Genesis 8/ Isaiah 27

1.  Keep the covenant and bear fruit

They waited patiently in the ark until God receded the water. When they were dead to the flesh, God ordered them to come out of the ark and to multiply on earth. Then they sacrificed the pleasing offering which satisfied God’s heart.

2.  Refine and revive

God strikes His children with disasters to remove the dross and destroy the idols, so that they become a vineyard. On that day, God will punish the enemy and restore the captives so that they will flourish throughout the land.

Psalm 8 / Revelation 10:8        The name of the Lord / the Holy Book

How majestic is the name of the Lord, which is the word of God. Take the Holy Book and humbly crave for God’s word. He who acknowledges the name of the Lord has power on his lips. God puts everything under his ruling.

When the floodwaters came on the earth, the disaster was imminent. Let us go into the ark quickly because whoever believes in the Lord will live. Anything outside the ark will die. Whoever is in the Lord has life and peace.

2. Hide and long for

The righteous who keeps faith may enter the door of salvation. He who trusts in the Lord will be in perfect peace. Those who long for God in the days of troubles and pray in conceal will enlarge the nation.

Psalm 7 / Revelation 10:7                        Integrity / Fulfillment

May God arise because the enemies pursue me. Judge me according to my integrity. The wicked will be harmed by his own schemes but the righteous will be secured. Every word of God will be fulfilled when time comes.

Key Verses Genesis 6:9 / Isaiah 25:6-8

When the wickedness of men became very serious, God was grieved and decided to wipe out all creatures on the earth.  Walk in the Lord’s way and you will find favor before God. Build yourself up in the Lord and lead people to be saved.

2.  Go up to the holy mountain

God has prepared a banquet on His mountain for all nations to take away the shroud that enfolds all peoples. God will silence the uproar of the wicked. Those who wait on Him will rejoice in saving others.

Psalm 6 / Revelation 10:6                        Implore persistently / Deliver

Men toil painfully in this world. They bring up sons and daughters. Then they die. Imitate Enoch, who had the same mind as that of God and walk with Him. He was caught up alive.

2. Glorify God

The earth will dry up and wither and languish, because men disobey God’s law. However, those who fear God will rejoice and glorify His name to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 5 / Revelation 10: 5                       Be watchful / Raise hand

He was with great jealousy because the Lord looked with favor on the offering of his brother, who offered fat portions from the first born of his flock. He who hates and kills people will be cursed. He will wander restlessly on earth without peace.

2. Desolate due to arrogance

Though this city is rich, reveling, arrogant and self-esteemed, she has no peace and will end in desolation. God will show mercy to her after punishment. Then her profit and earnings should be set apart for God.

Psalm 4 / Revelation 10:4                        Righteous / humble

Be righteous, godly and do not love delusions. Add in humility and be attentive in everything. This will please God and understand the mystery. Then our hearts will be filled with joy and full of rest.

Adam and Eve were deceived by Satan to disobey the Lord’s command. They ate the forbidden fruit and therefore harmed themselves and others. They concealed their sin and shirked instead of contrite. They fell from grace but God redeemed them.

2. Hold on and be established

Those who were full of tumult and revelry would be destroyed. They ate and drank, and waited to die without repentance. They will be deposed and ousted from the holy position. However, he who holds on to the Lord’s commands will be established and honored.

Psalm 3 / Revelation 10:3                        Cry aloud / Shout

2. Unite with the world

If you covet and love the world, sin and commit wickedness, pursue trivial things, greed for wealth and benefits, terror, then pain and misery will come. Repent quickly and unite with God!

God created everything in the beginning. In the image of God He created male and female, and He wanted man to rule over all the creatures He created. Honored are those who trust in the Almighty God.

2. Rely on man—disgraced

In obedience, the prophet stripped himself naked and barefoot as a sign to warn against God’s people who relied on man instead of God. Disgraced are those who rely on man.

Psalm 1 / Revelation 10:1                Love the way / Might

Do not follow the way of sin and evil, but delight only in the word of the Lord. Meditate on the law day and night and one will yield fruit in season. Those who unite with the Lord will be full of great power, just as the mighty angel displaying God’s glory.
