God gives great salvation to those who trust in Him and keep His word to the end.

Genesis 18/ Isaiah 37

1.  Fervent love

Abraham entertained the strangers with fervent love. As a result, he was informed with good news which was unbelievable. He walked along with them to see them on their way and he was revealed a mystery. He then interceded earnestly for there is nothing too hard for God.

2.  Pray earnestly and constantly

Let us deny ourselves and pray constantly and earnestly. Is there anything too hard for the Lord Almighty? His grace exceeds beyond what we can pray or imagine. We will not only be delivered from the enemy but also be revived.

Psalm 18 / Revelation 11: 7                 Till the end / tremendous grace

Call on the name of the Lord and be delivered from the enemy. Let us honor His way and attack the enemy so all peoples will return to the Lord. God will favor those with tremendous grace who keep and testify His word till the end.

Those who do not listen nor see the environment but only listen to God’s word will receive promises.

God grants power to those who stand firm in His way, be away from the enemies and strike the earth by God.

Genesis 17/ Isaiah 36

1.  Listen to God’s word absolutely

Be blameless before God, for God is almighty. Keep the covenant and be circumcised. Do not look nor listen to anything, but listen to God’s word absolutely and you will receive His promise.

2.  Do not listen to the enemy’s voice

The great army of Assyria utters words of arrogance, which confuses the truth and disturbs the mind of the people. Have faith in God’s word and do not listen to the enemy’s voice. Remain silent and put hope only in God.

Psalm 17 / Revelation 11: 6                     Guard carefully / the Power

Be careful to guard one’s heart, mouth and deeds to keep hold of the Lord’s word. Be blameless before God and He will keep you from the enemy’s ravages. They are empowered to strike the earth and save people.

Genesis 16/ Isaiah 35

1. Man’s effort brings misery

Though they have waited patiently, they could not wait till the end. He followed people’s advice to make an effort by himself. As a result a son was born of flesh. He lost the presence of God and was full of misery.

2. Wait to see His glory

Those who walk in the way of holiness will not stray from it. Be sure to hold on to it till the end without shaking. He who waits to the end will see God’s glory—the desert and the wilderness will rejoice.

Psalm 16 / Revelation 11:5                      Love wholeheartedly / the Power

Only the Lord is what I love wholeheartedly. Apart from Him I have no good thing. Be watchful day and night and stand firm in His way. Their mouths will devour their enemies and enjoy pleasures.

Those who keep God’s way watchfully will be rewarded greatly but he who backslides and do evil will be captivated.

1. Be watchful to follow the way

He who believes God’s word is credited as righteousness. His descendants will multiply and take possession of the land. But be alert lest one will be defiled. One must be refined before one can receive the promise.

2. Backsliding and does evil

All nations backslide and disobey God’s word. Even God’s children are like Edom. They care only for themselves and do not save any souls. Those who provoke God will be cursed.

Psalm 15 / Revelation 11:4                      The holy hill / radiant

He who fears God and loves people with a pure heart and clean hands, who strives to be perfect to follow the way to shun evil, will go up to the holy hill and live with God. Let us beg and proclaim widely so all nations may be blessed.

Genesis 14 / Isaiah 33

Those who fear God and hate sin will be strong and triumph but you will be captive if you love the world and sin.

Genesis 14/ Isaiah 33

1.  Fear God and honor His way

He who fears God and honors His way, denies himself to love people, God will be with him and fills him with power. Abram rescued the captive but he was not greedy on wealth, so God blessed him greatly without limit.

2.  Captive are those who love the world

God’s children covet the world. So when trouble comes, they are terrified and were captivated. Therefore, uphold righteousness and justice, shun evil and love good, then we will live with God and be filled with peace.

Psalm 14 / Revelation 11:3                      Fool / Testify

No one does good in this wicked generation. The wicked does not seek God but is stubborn to do evil.  We should therefore testify the truth daily, rescue the captive and rejoice greatly.

Genesis 13/ Isaiah 32

Great blessing will come to those who follow His way and give in humbly; however calamity will result to those who are complacent and contending.

Genesis 13/ Isaiah 32

1.   Follow His way and give in humbly

The noble cares not the increase of wealth or livestock. Rather, he calls on the name of the Lord and pitches a tent on earth. He does not quarrel with brothers but gives in humbly. How noble he is! As a result God blesses him greatly.

2. Complacent and contending

The fool makes up evil schemes. Calamity will come to those who are complacent and contending. Those who are righteous and give in humbly will dwell in the Lord. Follow the way and tend your flock, then revival will come throughout the land.

Psalm 13 / Revelation 11:2                      Limited in time / kindness

There is a limited time for the enemy to trample. The Lord will not forget His people. Therefore pray and trust in the Lord, stand firm and we will rejoice because He has been good to me.

Genesis 12 / Isaiah 31

1.  Trust in the true God

He who trusts in the true God and denies himself to follow the Lord will be blessed greatly and be a blessing to all nations. But when Abram turned his eyes to the environment, his faith was weakened. As a result, he lied and was humiliated because he did not trust in God wholeheartedly.

2.   Rely on ourselves and others

It is a great rebellion and infliction will come if God’s children seek help from man instead of looking up to God. Be sure to turn to God and trust Him wholeheartedly. God will devour our enemies and save us.

Psalm 12 / Revelation 11:1                      God’s word / the measuring rod

Though the wicked struts freely and everyone lies, God’s word is the measuring rod. Therefore, be godly and faithful to follow God’s word, He will reward the kind and punish the wicked when the time comes.

1. Conspire to rebel

Men of the world conspired to rebel God by building the Babel tower, which was to make a name for themselves, a great evil. As soon as God came down to see, their plans became nothing. Be sure to fear God and deny oneself to obey His will.

2. Return and be blessed

Woe to those who conspire to form an alliance by seeking help from man. It is utterly useless and becomes a disgrace. He who discards the idols, walks in the right way and returns to rest, will be blessed greatly.

Psalm 11 / Revelation 10: 11                   Test / Use mightily

God allows the righteous to be tested by afflictions. He who upholds His word has a secure foundation.  He who upholds justice and uprightness, and trusts in God wholeheartedly during the test will be used mightily by God to spread His word widely.

Genesis 10/ Isaiah 29

1.  Anti-God hero

The mighty hunter grasps the world harshly. However, the end of a mighty warrior on the earth is vanity.  Praise be to the God of Shem. He who is blessed by God will be a blessing to all nations.

2.  Be humble and fear God

Disasters will come to those who are blind and sightless, hide their plans and pay lip service but their hearts are far from God. Only those who fear God and humbly receive the discipline will be revived and rejoice.

Psalm 10 / Revelation 10:10                    Discern / the Holy Book

He who eats up the scroll will be able to discern the enemy’s schemes. The helpless fatherless and widow are being pursued by the enemy; so understand the heart of God, pray and spread His word, let God vindicate and snatch to save the dying sheep.

He who eats the Holy Book and completely destroy all wickedness will proclaim the Lord’s salvation.

Genesis 9/ Isaiah 28

1.  Keep the covenant and bear fruit

Let us understand the heart of God so as not to eat blood but value life and snatch the souls from perishing. Let us be alert, keep the covenant and do not get drunk. Blessed are those who are godly and fear God.

2.  Indulgent and arrogant

God’s people indulge their desires when they are blessed. They became arrogant and scornful. How can they find shelter in lying and falsehood? Only those who trust in God, listen carefully to the word of the Lord and keep His covenant with fear and trembling will have a secured foundation.

Psalm 9 / Revelation 10:9                        Eat / Proclaim

Be sure to eat the scroll until it fills your stomach. Though it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth, it turns your stomach sour. Overpower the enemy by the Spirit and His word. Proclaim the Lord’s salvation and repay His deep grace.
